For Bookkeeping Firms
And most stay for years. Yet most bookkeeping firm websites still pitch “contact us for a quote” to prospects who are ready to onboard tonight. We build the opposite.
The Problem
A typical bookkeeping retainer is $300–$1,500 a month. Multi-year retention is normal. A single signed client is worth $15K–$50K over the relationship. A firm losing 2 prospects a month to a vague website is leaving $360K–$1.2M on the table over five years.
Here’s what’s costing you retainers:
“Contact us for pricing” on every page
Hiding pricing made sense when bookkeeping was bespoke. Today, small business owners shop on transparency. The firms winning retainers publish tier pricing (or at least a clear starting price) and let prospects self-qualify before the call.
No niche — you do “bookkeeping for anyone”
E-commerce, SaaS, contractors, agencies, restaurants, real estate — each has its own COA, its own software stack, its own monthly close pattern. Niche bookkeepers charge 2–3x more and close at higher rates because prospects feel understood. A generic homepage loses to a focused one every time.
No path for “catch-up bookkeeping” leads
The most urgent bookkeeping prospect is the one who hasn’t reconciled in 18 months and just got an IRS letter. Catch-up jobs run $2K–$15K up front and almost always convert into a monthly retainer. Most firm websites have nowhere to capture that lead.
Invisible for the searches that actually convert
“Bookkeeper for Shopify store,” “QuickBooks bookkeeper for general contractor,” “monthly bookkeeping for small law firm” — these are the high-intent searches. A homepage that says “bookkeeping services” doesn’t rank for any of them.
What You Get
A complete system where every page is built to attract your ideal client, qualify them on pricing, and book onboarding calls without back-and-forth.
Dedicated pages for each vertical you serve — e-commerce, contractors, agencies, SaaS, real estate, restaurants. Each one ranks for the searches your ideal client actually runs and converts at 2–3x the rate of a generic homepage.
We help you publish honest pricing or a starting tier so prospects self-qualify before the call. The firms hiding pricing lose discovery calls to the firms that publish it. We make sure you’re on the winning side.
Calendly or Acuity embedded for discovery calls plus a self-onboarding flow for clients ready to sign. Document upload, intake questionnaire, contract signing — all without a single back-and-forth email.
Google Business optimization plus visibility for niche searches like “QuickBooks bookkeeper for [vertical] [city]” — the queries that actually produce paying retainers.
How it works
We scan your current site for conversion leaks and missed opportunities — no pricing transparency, generic positioning, no catch-up capture, missing niche pages. You get a detailed report with specific findings and fix priorities.
Custom-designed, optimized for retainer acquisition. Niche service pages, transparent pricing, catch-up capture, discovery booking, onboarding flow — everything a bookkeeping firm needs to sign new clients on autopilot.
Hosting, security, updates, content publishing — all included in your monthly plan. One text or email and it’s handled.
What your client experiences
What we owe you
Every Forge Method engagement ships with those commitments on page 1 of every proposal. No revenue promises we can't back up. Four things we control, four things we stake our fees on.
You own it from Day 1. Most web agencies hold your domain, hosting, and logins hostage until you pay a ransom to leave. We hand you the keys at launch — codebase, domain, hosting, CRM, content, all transferred to your accounts on Day 1. If we ever part ways, everything keeps running on your stack. No ransom, no downtime.
Late and we credit you. Live within 28 days of assets received, or $150 a day credits your invoices, capped at $1,500. Real dollars off what you’d otherwise owe, not store credit. The clock pauses only when we’re both on record in writing that it’s paused, and only for things you didn’t deliver (content, feedback, approvals, access).

FAQ
Yes. We connect to QBO, Xero, Karbon, Keeper, Financial Cents, Pixie, and most other workflow tools used in modern bookkeeping. Onboarding submissions and document uploads flow into your system so your team doesn’t re-key anything.
Yes. We have a niche-selection conversation as part of discovery. Most firms are closer to a niche than they realize — your existing client base usually reveals it. If you genuinely serve a wide mix, we build a system that lets you pivot positioning as you grow without rebuilding the site.
Most bookkeeping firm sites launch around Week 4 inside the 28-day Forge Method engagement. That includes discovery, custom design, development, content migration, and testing. We handle everything — you just review and approve.
You own your content and your domain. If you decide to move on, we provide all assets, assist with migration for up to 14 days. The commitment runs twelve months, with a performance exit if we stop delivering. We keep clients by delivering value — not by making it hard to leave.
